Capabilities built on encryption

Watermarking, attestation, and delegation sit on top of the vault encryption foundation.

Documents are encrypted client-side before they reach 1Bridge. Read how encryption works.

01

Visible + Invisible Watermarking & Verification

Before a Regulated Firm can view a document, it is stamped in the browser with a visible and invisible reference unique to that recipient. If a copy is shared without authorisation, the reference at /verify identifies which recipient it was released to.

02

Bitcoin-Based Attestation & Certification

When the owner counter-signs, the SHA-256 hash of the final PDF is submitted to OpenTimestamps and confirmed in a Bitcoin block. Anyone can verify what was signed and when at /verify, independent of 1Bridge.

03

Delegation

Invite delegates to different vaults. Ops for Company A never sees Company B metadata. Delegates prepare share and signing requests, but only the owner approves them and holds the keys. Every action is logged.

The entire vault is built on these foundations
